Sign in and register

We would like to know who you are and what your skills are to be able to help where needed. You should also take some time to familiarize yourself with some things.

  • Upon entry, always report to the front desk, get registered at the front desk and follow the admission procedure. Inform yourself in advance of the risks of climbing.
  • Anyone using Neoliet's facilities explicitly agrees to the house rules, safety rules and terms and conditions.

Admission procedure

Visitors with little or no experience climbing or participating in booked activities will be assigned guidance at intake. Visitors coming to bouldering for the first time will follow safety instruction at intake.

Bouldering

  • After following, reading and signing the safety instruction, you may begin.
  • Bouldering is done only on designated bouldering walls and above the mats.

Climbing & Securing

  • Never climbed or secured before, your experience is minimal and you do not have a climbing license/license? Instruction and guidance from an instructor is then required. You may not climb/secure without the guidance of an instructor.
  • You may also climb on the walls without sets as an introductee under the responsibility and guidance of an experienced independent climber. You are not allowed to fuse.

Other activities

  • Activities such as abseiling, superswing, speleo and other booked arrangements are always accompanied by an instructor.

When exercising independently, there is no guidance, instruction and/or supervision and you are expected to be able to safely practice the sport of climbing entirely on your own.

Bouldering

  • After checking in at the desk, you may begin; by now you know how it works.
  • Bouldering is done only on designated bouldering walls and above the mats.

Toprope climbing

  • For independent toprope climbing and hoisting, you must have a license/climbing license or demonstrable skills gained through a course or through experience.
  • Toprope climbing is not done on the front climbing walls or in the front climbing ropes

Pre-climbing (lead)

  • For independent pre-climbing and ferrying, you must have a license or demonstrable skills gained through a course or through experience.
  • Pre-climbing is done on the pre-climbing walls or in the pre-climbing routes on the toprope walls

We have age limits for our visitors. There is a stricter admission procedure for minors.

Age rules bouldering

  • Up to 8 years: only bouldering under experienced supervision (18+) and/or at certain times (times vary by location).
  • 8 to 12 years: accompanied bouldering only (18+).
  • From 12 to 18 years: independent bouldering allowed with parental statement.

Age rules toprope & autobelay climbing

  • Inexperienced - up to 14 years old: climbing under experienced supervision (18+), ferrying prohibited.
  • Inexperienced - 14 to 18 years of age: climbing and ferrying under experienced supervision (18+).
  • With license K2 - 8 to 14 years of age: climbing and climbing with experienced supervision (18+) with parental statement.
  • With license K2 - 14 to 18 years: independent climbing and climbing with parental statement.

Pre-climbing age rules (lead)

  • Inexperienced - up to 8 years old: lead climbing is not allowed.
  • Inexperienced - 8 to 16 years of age: climbing and ferrying under experienced supervision (18+).
  • Licensed K3 - 8 to 16 years old: climbing and ferrying under experienced supervision (18+) with parental statement.
  • With license K3 - 16 to 18 years: independent climbing and climbing with parental statement.

The safety instruction

Good preparation before climbing prevents accidents and injuries and the safety instruction is therefore mandatory! At various places we will remind you and you will find the most important rules on small signs, during (safety) instruction, in the video and at the activities.

General security
  • Make sure you are well rested. You should play sports and participate in activities only if you are in good physical and mental health. When in doubt, ask your doctor.
  • Do a good warm-up before you start climbing.
  • Keep the floor clear of objects.
  • It is forbidden to use structural elements, such as steel beams when climbing.
  • Wait your turn and keep enough distance from other climbers so that you do not hit each other in a fall or dynamic movement.
  • Respect cordons and do not walk under other climbers/boulderers.
  • Use clean athletic shoes or climbing shoes.
  • Remove all rings and jewelry and other unnecessary material from your body. Straighten your hair.
  • Empty pockets! Remove all loose things and unnecessary material from your body and from your clothing (phones, keys, scarves, strings, etc.).
  • Empty harness policy. Do not hang materials on your harness.
  • Do not distract other climbers! Shouting, running or other disruptive behavior is not allowed.
  • Unsecured climbing is prohibited with the exception of bouldering.
  • Use of training rooms and materials is not allowed under the age of 18 without supervision of trainer/instructor.
  • Route building, self instruction, teaching or training are allowed only with manager's permission.

Safe and fine sports atmosphere

Our community values a safe and fun sports atmosphere. Please respect the privacy of other athletes.

  • Exercising with bare upper body is prohibited.
  • Inappropriate touching, harassment, sexism and racism are, of course, prohibited.
  • Climbing we do together and everyone is equal, just wait your turn.
  • Continue to communicate with each other in a friendly and respectful manner.
  • Do not distract other climbers. Shouting, running, slidings or other disruptive behavior is not allowed.
  • Brushing handles promotes grip. Therefore, use your brush regularly.
  • Tickmarks and excessive magnesium use are not appreciated.

  • Change in the locker rooms.
  • Only clean shoes on the climbing wall and drop mats.
  • Neolite assumes no liability for stolen or lost items.
  • Consumption of alcohol and other drugs before or during an activity/climb is prohibited.
  • If you are under 18, it is forbidden to buy or consume alcohol with us.
  • Outside the bar, only consuming water from a sealable leak-proof unbreakable bottle is permitted.
  • No glassware, crockery or food items may be used in the sports areas.
  • Pets and smoking (including e-cigarettes) are not allowed.
