Additional information for your birthday party/workshop

Birthday party/workshop bouldering (1 ½ hour for 8-18 year)

The kids are going to have a lot of bouldering! Our instructor will guide this party for an hour and a half. The children learn from our instructor, in a playful way, how to boulder and jump off safely. Of course he or she makes it a party and the children learn the inside tricks and kicks.

When bouldering, you must provide one adult supervisor for children under 12 years old. The supervisor is involved in the lesson and is present in the building. For example, the supervisor helps if the children do not follow the rules of conduct. Running and yelling over the mats, for example, is not allowed and that is sometimes quite difficult if the children are enthusiastic. Help from a known adult supervisor for youth younger than 12 years is then necessary.

Birthday party/workshop climbing (1 ½ hour for 6-18 year)

This party is completely supervised by one of our instructors. Children and supervisors are given a climbing harness, there is a short explanation about safety and the supervisors/parents receive an instruction on how to secure from one of our instructors.

You provide 1 adult supervisor per 3 kids up to 14 years old. Older youth can of course get started themselves. The supervisors or youth 14+ learn from our instructor(s) how to secure (secure the climbing rope). The supervisors and youth 14 + belay under the supervision of the instructor.
At Neoliet Utrecht, this ratio is less important because we have several auto belay systems installed there. This means that 2 supervisors for 9 children are sufficient.

Birthday party/workshop Speleo (1 ½ hour for 8-18 year)

This party is completely supervised by one of our instructors. Children/youth are provided with materials that are necessary and a short explanation about safety follows. The supervisors/parents are involved in the explanation if desired, but do not have to do anything further.

This party is completely supervised by one of our instructors. Important information

When is a children’s party possible?
You can use the available times or make a request for a part of the day. In that case we plan the party in consultation.

Clothing/material
• comfortable (sports) clothing
• clean sports shoes or climbing shoes (a black sole is not a problem)
• long hair is mandatory in a ponytail or updo (so that your hair does not get caught in belay material)
• rings off
• no loose things such as things in pockets or loose shoes
• parents/guardians must wear long pants because of the climbing harness (no skirt/dress)
All necessary climbing and securing materials are made available by Neoliet and are included in the price

Changing/cancelling the children’s party
• Changing or canceling children’s parties free of charge is possible up to 7 days before the booking. Don’t show up without a cancellation? Then we will send an invoice
• Are you still coming with more than 12 children? Let us know asap so we can try to arrange an extra instructor

Payment 
Did you pay online? Then it is processed in our system. If you did not have to pay online, you can pay at the counter on the day itself. You can only pay with PIN. Do you use a voucher or voucher? Always take the printed version with you. This must be handed in at the counter. Unfortunately, we cannot accept images, codes, etc. on telephones.

Agree house rules and conditions
By booking this activity you have agreed to our house rules, safety instructions and terms and conditions. These are available separately at the counter, on the wall, included with the confirmation email and can be found on the safety page > . You must inform all participants of your booking yourself. Participants and legal representatives should realize that responsibility is transferred to them during the lesson. Participants are responsible for their own safety and that of the climbing partner and are aware of the risks that climbing can entail.
